very year, for two weeks in the winter, two in the spring and two in the summer, the SOBs run away from New Haven with their music to explore the farthest reaches of the United States and the world.
Since the Orpheus and Bacchus Association's first tour to South America with the Yale Glee Club in the spring of 1940, the Society's song has rung out through the plains of France's wine country, over the thousand lakes of Minnesota, across the streets of Hong Kong Island and under the eaves of London's Big Ben.
Yet whether road-tripping to Florida or climbing the Eiffel Tower, the whimsical wonder of an SOB tour is not to be found in the panoramas or monuments but in the adventures of 20-or-so great friends, immortalized in these albums.
Until we meet again...
